Make-up Brushes

I just recently picked up two new make-up brushes at M.A.C. that are fabulous: #134 and #205.

The #134 is an extra large paddle-shaped brush that, though a bit pricey, is a must have for your kit.  I can't believe that I did so long without it!  It is the perfect brush for all over powder/bronzer coverage.  It has a shorter handle that fits comfortably in the hand.  The thick and full brush covers a large surface area on the face and/or body, so you are able to get a more even tone in one sweeping motion.

The #205 is a fan-shaped mascara brush made of synthetic fibers.  This brush is ideal for really getting those bottom lashes.  I find it much easier to control mascara application with this brush because I am able get from root to the tip of the lash quickly and smoothly.

Would you let me know the name of the mascara that you got at the LA show in June? You applied it on me and thinking back, it looked so great, I must invest in it. It was an extender formula with a very small, precise brush.

Actually, I got that mascara at The Make-up Show in New York in May.  It is Maybelline Lash Discovery Mini-brush.  Maybelline reps were at the show giving out free samples of three different mascaras:  Great Lash, Volum Express, and their newest mascara Lash Discovery.

Lash Discovery mini-brush is a smaller tube with a that small, precise brush you are talking about that really helps the user to get each lash.  Its particularly useful for the bottom lashes.
